Maternal & Child Health

The health of mothers and infants remain a principal indicator of a nation’s health system performance. Despite this, structural inequalities, differential access to care, and difficulties in health care financing systems have demonstrated that maternal and child health services are not equitably distributed or readily available to all mothers and children requiring services. Maternal & child focuses on eliminating inconsistent and inadequate services necessary to improving the conditions of mothers and their children.
